High Performance Valve Stem Seals

Umbrella seals are normally used where the spring is a single type and there is enough room inside it for the seal. The seal moves up & down with the valve. The Teflon & Viton seals, generally require the OD of the valve guide boss to be machined. They fit tightly onto the guide boss, & do not move. Teflon is good to 450f, and Viton to 500f.
